Terms of Service

Subquill AMP is a hosted, OpenAI-compatible API gateway operated by the Subquill team. It forwards your requests to model providers and bills you from a prepaid balance. The Subquill desktop app remains open source and is covered by its own repository license — these terms only govern the AMP service.

• You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret; treat them like passwords
• Requests authenticated by your keys are billed to your balance, so rotate any key you suspect has leaked
• One person or organization per account; do not resell access without a separate agreement

• Don't use AMP for unlawful content or to violate any model provider's usage policies
• Don't probe, overload, or attempt to bypass the gateway's rate limits
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or fail to pay chargebacks

AMP uses a prepaid balance: you top up, and each request is billed per token at the rates shown in the console. There is no subscription. Unused balance stays in your account while it exists; statutory refund rights are unaffected by this section.

AMP depends on upstream providers and is offered as-is, without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee any particular uptime, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding twelve months.

We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be announced in the console at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.
